Battlefield 4 and COD Ghost confirmed to be 720P on Xbox One

The system is less powerfull, but I don't think that's why these games are running at less fps than ps4 games.

It's been said for months that the Xbox one dev tools are still being worked on. Forza and Ryse look just as good or better than any ps4 game and its obvious that first party devs have had more time with the tools.

Also graphics are only one part of the puzzle. The Xbox one system offers the better experience overall, with the extra features, and the advances in the online/community aspect.

Resolution is something I would never notice. I've never looked at a game and said "that's not 1080p". So to say Xbox one is "inferior" when it does EVERYTHING else better, I just can't agree with that.

they have damn near the same features. the PS4 has voice commands just like Kinect. if you get the camera it can log you in through just the camera just like Kinect. the two things separating them are exclusive titles and hardware capability. the online community argument is bullshyt. its zero to zero right now because we're starting from scratch. the Xbox 360 community doesn't really carry over. the PS4 has cross game invites and party chat.

all the pillars Xbox fans rested on in the previous generation are gone now. unless you're gonna start going into TV features which if you have a DVR or Cable Box you don't need anyway cause its redundant the Xbox One is just flat out inferior to the PS4.

In all honesty I know an Xbox One is likely a waste of money but I could afford one and already paid mine off cash. I'll just buy it. In the short run its launch lineup of non-indie retail games looks better but in the long run these systems are gonna have 85% of the same games in their libraries. I'm not buying it because I know its a smart purchase I'm buying it despite that. If one is only buying one system then unless you just love Gears / Halo / Forza / Fable it flat out makes no sense to buy an Xbox One over a PS4. if you have a gaming PC it makes even less sense.

X1 is not waste. It will have and does have good looking games. Me I not buying for specs, Im buying for the franchise I like. So anything the stans say doesn't bother me. Its capable enough plus I have a gaming PC.

They don't have the same features. Sony says the ps4 is capable of doing voice commands, but have you seen them working? Have you seen the pseye working?

The kinect and the software running it are well beyond anything sony is doing with the pseye.


And that's not even the beginning of the extra features. The tv integration. The espn and NFL apps. Nba coming soon, original programming. The easy customizable home screens that adapt and cater to each individual user. The already superior online ecosystem getting better. The list goes on.

Added to that the games announced so far for Xbox far outclass the ones on ps4. The only game I'm remotely interested in on ps4 is the order. And that's just cause its a new IP and a cool art style. It would be stupid of me to forgoe the better games and the better overall experiences, just for promises of some good games to come out for ps4 in 2015. I'll just buy a ps4 when the good games start coming out. Until then I will be enjoying the better exclusives and the better overall experince of using my Xbox.

X1 is not waste. It will have and does have good looking games. Me I not buying for specs, Im buying for the franchise I like. So anything the stans say doesn't bother me. Its capable enough plus I have a gaming PC.

its a waste in the sense that i could wait till closer to the end of the coming generation and just go back and cop all the exclusives i missed dirt cheap.

i'll have a gaming PC with an R9 290X or a GTX 780 and a PS4. there's really no reason for me to buy an Xbox One. its just an impulse buy for me.

And 720p for COD is embarrassing for the Developers more so than it is for the console, there's no reason that shytty looking game should be 720p.

This. COD developers take the easy route with everything...the game is simple (can be played competitive)...the gfx are decent, but mostly carried by the 60fps. It's next-gen, there is no reason for them nikkas to be making games at 720p...the game does not demand that much technical power...i highly doubt that.
