Nope it's been confirmed to be "buttery smooth" for months now. And the resolution is variable whatever that means.

The game looks and plays good, and it's a big step over 360. That's all that matters

Well of course it's going to look better than it's lesser cousin, that's not a feat to be proud of. Forza 5 looks better than 4 but it looks like a port of Forza 4.
