I really feel like y'all are really stuck on the shytty launch and first year of this game if y'all think this is a bad game at this point. Definitely way better than BF1, BFV and especially BF Hardline (lol). Those games might have better graphics, but they had shytty maps and limited gameplay at the end of the day (especially due to the era).

Classes update should be this upcoming week. It's going to be a little controversial with how every class is going to be able to use every gun, except different classes have different proficiencies. Gadgets will be restricted by classes though, ex. no launchers for Rao.

The game is in a way better spot at launch but this ain’t for me. I’m not going to try persuade people otherwise, if you enjoy, that’s good - I will not argue against that. DICE had to make a game during the pandemic under EA, I won’t fault them on that.

As a Battlefield game and a long time fan of the series, this has to be the most anemic entry into the series. I put more hours into Battlefield Heroes. :pachaha: It’s not a bad game, it’s just BF has an identity crisis now and has to adapt with the times. Live service games shouldn’t just mean a weekly store rotation or limited time events but engaging content. The whack-a-mole conquest loop needs to be fleshed out.

I just can't get past the trash gunplay on consoles and the forced crossplay against PC brehs, atleast give us the option to use KB&M if they refuse to fix the aim assist.

Makes the game feel damn near unplayable.

Those Steam numbers say otherwise, playa.

:sas2:

They were doing over both games (BF1 and BFV) and around 60k concurrent during the free to play window last month on steam. I even made a post about it here.

I feel like too many people read and talk about games than actually play them.

I personally wouldn't have recommended this game until this current season. They fixed the gunplay to where its almost as fluid as MW2, they fixed most of the base maps, vehicle balancing is at a great place now, and they started bringing in all the cool shyt from way older BF games like rail guns and air burst rifles.

This game is still very poorly managed with how slow they are with getting content out for it being a live service game, but, multiple things can be true at once. And this is a good game at this stage and probably how it should've been at launch. It's only going up from here since they said they're dedicated to another couple years of support.

The game isn't free to play anymore.

Meanwhile BF1 and BFV have been given away for free numerous times on PC (and console).

Plus we're at the end of the current season so content has gotten stale for existing players.

You have absolutely got to be trolling. This game does absolutely NOTHING better than those games. Like At All. I don't care if you don't like the setting, Nobody who is a fan of the series would agree with you. I don't give a fukk if they went back to the knights of the round table time and there was jousting and morning stars and shyt like that. It would STILL BE MILES better than THIS shyt.

I would be saying the exact same to you lol.

BF1 and BFV were not good games to people who are OG fans of the series. They were casual and limited in gameplay variety compared to almost every other game in the entire franchise.

Just admit you're a sucker for pretty graphics and we can move on.
