I read a book called lean start up and I knew the degradation of quality games were inevitable.
The concept is they put out an unfinished product and if it’s good enough to draw in money you refine it on the consumers dime.
if the game is a flop you didn’t waste as much money as you would’ve and you dead the product.
Big budget games have been doing this for a while but they’re taking this shyt way too far. Fallout 76, cyberpunk and I guess this game are the biggest examples.
I’m to the point where I won’t buy a game day one and I usually wait until it’s on sale. Christmas, thanksgiving, 4 of July, etc.
I think more people should go that route if that’s how these studios are going to act.

i had a feeling this was the case for a while. cyberpunk solidified that feeling, which is why i didnt cop this joint
The lack of destruction feels more cosmetic than dynamic. I have so much memories I past games of smoking out campers and making a breach hole. None of these maps really give me that vibe.
And with CoD going to one platform, I really hope to see publishers trying to make their own franchise shooter but I have no hope for AAA games. Indie PC devs are doing more with little and it’s kind of sad but that’s business I guess…

I dodged this one. Not cyberpunk. That was the final straw. Definitely won’t be preordering games anymore. The pre order incentives are usual skins or weapons you can live without.

Trying to siphon more money in MTX through F2P isn't gonna hold if the game is fundamentally busted. They should fix it first, then go F2P.

I’ve accepted it , I deleted the shyt off my drive , legit make me angry they would even put out a half baked game
Its dumb because going F2P is just gonna bring in more cheaters and make the game worse than it already is for the few still wanting to play
