Lets do a thought experiment. Lets take JD Vance for example. He's been harping on about how we gotta uplift rural poor/uneducated type white men. He hasnt directly said this, but if you read between the lines its what he's saying. This is also being echoed by many experts. Its why you keep seeing so many academics and experts sounding the alarm about "why so many rural uneducated (white) men are falling behind. Obviously they cant say white, so they just keep it neutral and say men.... but we know who its about. White society has realized that you cant just discard your human capital. They tried doing so when they outsourced everything to east Asia in exchange for more money for upper middle class whites and above. They now know that they made a mistake and want to reverse it. Literally no community discards their capital, they try to efficiently use their human capital. Black community has a human capital efficiency problem, and it comes from the top.
Ok. So what are we going to do that we haven’t already been trying for decades?

For the record. I’m not against helping the hood. I’m against us giving the majority of our help to

This isnt true lol. It was only tried for one decade after the civil rights act was passed. There's a HUGE diffrence between the black community post 1975 and before 1975. There's a reason why too. You never asked yourself why we went from having people like Dr Amos Wilson in black academia to say.... Kimberly Crenshaw? There was a backlash during the early 1970s regarding an event.... the event in question scared white folks to the point where they restructured our community. The rest is history.

Re-allocate resources in the community to the youth-young adults, regardless of their gender. That's the only way to fix this. At the moment majority of the community's resources are going to the Crenshaw types and they're just using it for whatever, nothing useful that does any work for the community. Its been like this since the 1980s and its by design.

It’s weird how Napoleon is too intellectually shallow to engage with this and reduces everything to partisan politics.

That would requiring abandoning programs that won’t happen like reparations and accepting more attainable tangible projects like incremental community block grants etc

How did this become a hood politics question? They had the numbers initially. The republicans stayed the course and backed whichever candidate made it on the ballot. The democrats didn’t because Ted James didn’t get the nod so his supporters didn't come back out to vote again. This isn’t a complicated issue. What we need to do is close ranks. Make sure that the party is more important than the individual but people still out there looking for Jesus to be on the ballot.
