I held off on buying the return of the joker blu ray because I thought it was the edited version turns out its the uncut with all the blood and violence. There's a certain timelessness to the Bruce Timm batman-verse

Watched it yesterday and I didn't like it.

Maybe it's because I just recently read Court/Night of Owls, and the comic was much more twisted and you could really feel the psychological torture they put Bats through.

This was the first DCAU movie that I was wishing was over like 1/3rd of the way through.

i had a feeling it would be like this, which is why i haven't watched it yet. Last ones i saw were the one based on the superman/batman by jeph loeb(i think) and michael turner, the suicide squad joint, and the red hood one awhile back. I still need to check the flashpoint paradox one, but i haven't read the comic.
