The reason the Bale movies were piff (even if the fight scenes were stiff) was cuz of the realism of the world and the drives of each (human) villain. JL flopped cuz no one wants to see that metahuman Infinity War Captain America shyt from Batman theres no way he should be hanging with the rest of the fukking Justice League even if he is the worlds top human at everything hes still HUMAN.

Same thing in the comics. Stories like Long Halloween are doper to me than Dark Knight Returns. How the fukk is an old Bruce Wayne in a mech suit throwing hands with Superman bro

If I was head of DC Id keep the one offs and elseworlds shyt going but try to rebuild a interconnected Gotham only universe and direct them like a mix of Fast franchise with John wick/raid style fights. Maybe make the more cerebral villains like Joker/Riddler/Scarecrow into action-thrillers but definitely keep the fight scenes like BvS. I hope Matt Reeves executes the Noir Batman thing hes going for with style like the og cartoon

Guy's intellect is definitely his biggest asset, which is why the League was virtually undefeated when he's calling the plays from the Watchtower.

Bats scolding nikkas who could kill him 100 different ways on the proper use of powers during ops that yield the greatest benefit with the least amount of effort. For a powerless human, he understands the mechanics and weaknesses of abilities better than most users. shyt is basically cheating.

On his own, he's done everything from blackmail to hacking to utilizing his adversary's greatest fears without ever laying a hand on them. Those are his best moments for me personally.

Batman in the Bat Armor is the same as Iron Man vs Anybody...Superman holds back this is pretty well established and the armor didn’t hold up very long...also kryptonite. Movie wise JL doesn’t work with DKR Batman, you need a prime Batman sharp mentally and physically the whole point of “human” Batman is to keep the leagues values in line and keep them in check by knowing all their weaknesses. A live action JL Doom would be fire.

I feel like that hacking/blackmail intrigue side of him is definitely underplayed in the movies, Im ok with villains like killer croc clayface and firefly showing up just off nostalgia but yea his best is handing out beats and philosical Ls
