A cinema up here played Purple Rain for one night last year.

Maybe the most screening I've ever been to. We all sang the theme tune at the end. I'm getting just thinking about it now.

A homie of mine works over at Warner's - I told him that they'd be fools not to push sing-along screenings in major cities this year for the 30th anniversary.

Marvel had the Blade joint with rappers over electronic beats. Or maybe the credit for that goes to New Line. Either way - it had potential but didn't really live up to it.

at the time I R Kelly was writing alot for Michael Jackson, I wonder if MJ was ever approached to sing "Gotham City", that would have made the soundtrack right there
