These two got to be the only former wrestlers besides The Rock who don't need wrestling anymore. 99% of the wrestling world is in New Orleans and these two are just chilling at a Chicago comic con.
Dave is bigger than the WWE, and would put on a better match than Rock. It would make perfect sense to have him for WM, but as stated, WWE hates bringing back people who won't kiss Vince's ass.

Been checking out random WM builds from past years of Raw you’d think 04 was the golden era of wrestling the way that main was tightly built up for the couple months of tv.
I couldn’t tell you the last feud that’s been built convincingly on just a feud between 2 wrestlers that you believe can’t stand each other or wanna be the better man. I can’t seriously count Once/Twice in a Lifetime or a Taker streak match, those are no brainer builds

HHH is probably insecure about the fact that Batista has been a success in Hollywood and an actual draw for WWE.
I would guess it’s more Vince and Stephanie. H is a lifelong wrestling fan, while Vince is seemingly ashamed of the fact that he made his money in pro wrestling. They also have a long history of burying people for getting over on their own or having any drawing power. Look at how Stephanie sabotaged smackdown in the 2002-04 era once it’s ratings pushed ahead of raw by raiding the roster and undermining everything Heyman was trying to do creatively for example.

I’m for anyone being successful outside of the WWE. This company is so lame wanting to be 100% reason people succeed, instead of giving that person the freedom to sink or swim.
