Cade is not clearly better. Let me guess you are looking at thr most basic stats like ppgs, rpg, apg, when the Pistons have designed their entire style of play around Cade.

Both are going to be damn good, but Green has the higher ceiling due fo his athleticism.
He doesn’t have a higher ceiling because of his athleticism.
Cade is a better passer, rebounder, and gets to the same spots if not better spots without that quick burst. Cade is stronger. Cade has been raised to play four different positions natural from 1-4 and is a better defender. Jalen Green gonna be a bucket but y’all gonna stop acting like Cade not putting up 25 plus without getting free throws despite getting into the paint against everybody and every team

nikkas can be a great number two but he always gonna be number 2:

I never said Cade wasnt getting his, but bith franchises have different philosophies right now. Green has to basicslly split production with Kevim Porter Jr who the rockets have a weird experiment with.

How is Cade a better defender?

Look at the list Jalen belongs to right now

it’s levels and it’s nothing wrong with being second third or fourth in this class which is where Jalen can end up
Also Cade is bigger moves his hips blocks well as a guard and doesn’t just play passing lanes for steals.

What other draft can you say where top 5 teams are all happy with their picks? Yeah more time is needed to evaluate but this class is looking pretty damn strong early on
Portland was happy with Bowie?
:patrice:

I agree all 5 teams this time will be happy long term. Cade just looks scary good. Seeing how much better he is with Bagley on the team, imagine surrounding him with more guys who can play. He also needs a guard he can play off. I’d take Ivey over Chet if I was the Pistons.

96, 2003, there were some good classes in the 2000s as well. You went all the way left.
All I said was this draft was lookong like the 1984 one with how deep it is. It's going to be up there was one of the best draft classes.

I like all these players for different reasons but at the end of the day the goal is a ring. It's pointless without one no matter how fukking good you play (Karl Malone).

That does not come down to a single player, no matter their archetype. No heliocentric player like Cade (Harden, Luka, LeBron, Pippen) has ever won a ring by themselves and no two way scorer/shooter like Jalen (Kawhi, Kyrie, Jordan, KD, Kobe) has ever won one by themselves either. Both archetypes are central and actually fit on teams very well, so building around them should not be too difficult but it'll take some fortune though.

Maybe the only player to ever shoulder everything was Olajuwon and he pretty much had a 3 point shooting team built around him and still was during a time the Bulls cooled off (and no Jordan).
I don't think the Rockets would have beat the Bulls because although Olajuwon would have got his the Bulls are really fine with letting one player go off if they can stop the other 4 and the Bulls matched up well 1-4 - because again, team game, team result. But that's would'ves and could'ves.

Everyone wants to put players in vacuums but they're only going to go so far as their team goes, not how far they play individually. Point is, it's all the front office from here because each one of these players got the potential to win one doing what they do best.

Hilarious thing is the top 5 of this draft would be the ultimate modern team. Them playing together during FIBA blowing out the international teams by like ~100 points :wow:.

Everyone keeps forgetting about Jalen Suggs too, but he is a key cog on a championship team like Jrue Holiday. If these other front offices don't act right and the Magic does, there's a real possibility Suggs may be the only top 5 pick with a ring. Going to be interesting to see if any of them land Wembanyama.

pretty sure Michael carter Williams and tyreke evans also did this

but clearly Cade isn’t Jordan level. Stats are misleading

russell Westbrook still fills up the stat sheet and most will call him trash today

Nobody saying Cade is Jordan level :russ:

All we saying is he’s better than Green. Like, I don’t think it’s even close when you factor in Playmaking and Defense. Green might be a star, Cade will be an all star next year.
