Ant Edwards was in the same boat most of his rookie season... now just 1 year later tons of of y'all falling over yourselves to crown him the franchise player of his team over perennial all-star KAT.
Let these
literal teenagers play a few fukking months/years and figure it out with time, jesus christ.
Imagine these hot takes ~3 months into an entire career about someone like Giannis in his rookie year compared to who he is now.
This is a textbook example of what I'm talking about; Monk himself was
dogwater for years when he first came into the league. Shot <40% from the field while averaging a triple single and cosplaying a traffic cone on defense... now he's one of the lone bright spots in an otherwise disastrous Lakers season. This shyt takes time for everybody that isn't a Luka/Zion type superstar, those are 1 in ~200 outliers as far as rookie prospects go.
