You can be a good soccer dribbler and make it to the pros even if you suck at scoring.

In basketball having handles is meaningless if you cant score or block shots.

Making it o the NBA is more difficult simply because the average NBA player is 6'7" and there are only 430 spots.

But the amount of coordination it takes to dribble a ball with your feet like that is insane, dudes that are nice are identified at like 7 years old and picked up by pro clubs at like 13 :russ:

Plays both basketball and soccer :banderas:
Let's not get it twisted, a guy like Steph Curry is an amazing dribbler with both hands, while still having the necessary balance to set his feet on jumpshots and pulling up after crossovers.
Soccer dribbling is amazing to watch too and it comes naturally once you learn to juggle the ball well, from my experience. If you can manipulate the ball with every part of your foot you will be a more comfortable dribbler. Low center of gravity and balance is important too. My two cents. Best two sports to play in the world.

if you are purely a dribbler in soccer and cant do anything else you wont make it to top leagues, either.the most you'll be is basically the equivalent of A-ball in baseball.

its also a bit unfair to compare NBA vs soccer, as soccer has literally hundreds of leagues across the world and theres only one NBA.

CP3 is the superior ball handler. Steph has gotten better but that's been a knock on his game.

:dahell: If that happens it's because you're either a great facilitator (someone who can set up others to score really well) or your defense is top notch. Just like a Rondo or a Tony Allen so :camby: with that, both sports have their specialists

You don't just go pro in soccer cuz you can dribble

That's just the NBA too. That league has this close minded approach, talking about "We're world champions!! We beat all the teams in the USA and one team in Canada :blessed: CONQUERORS OF THE WORLD!!!!" :rudy: There are other leagues in Europe/Australia, etc that are professional leagues too. Mirotic, the Gasols, Mills, Parker out here eating in the NBA.

They really should have international basketball tournaments outside of FIBA like the Champions League. That would be great to see
