So who are you taking over a 25 year old Kawhi Leonard?

A 31 year old Lebron James who's on court play corresponds to how many trips he takes to Miami to get HGH injected in his scalp :mjlol:

A 29 year old Kevin Durant who's jones fracture surgery has ended plenty of other nba careers :mjlol:

28 year old Steph Curry who has missed more than an entire nba season in his career because of ankle and leg issues :mjlol:

23 year old Anthony Davis who has had so many injuries he is in the operating room right now being turned in Justice League's Cyborg? :mjlol:

The Spurs have Kawhi Leonard...you have every other player in the nba...you call the spurs and say you want to trade for Kawhi Leonard. Who is the nba player that they say they will take straight up for him?

You have Kawhi Leonard... The Holtz call you and say you have to trade him...What team are you calling and what player are you going to take straight up?

If you take a guy who can't be number 1 or 2 on your team in scoring you lose the trade...cause that's what Kawhi is...

You going to lose the trade on the defenisve end no matter what since Kawhi is the best defender in the nba AND the most versatile defender in the NBA...

If you take an older guy you lose the trade...you going to get less prime years out of him than you are going to get out of the guy you are trading...

I've been wondering why Kawhi Leonard didn't get any criticism for losing in the 2nd round with home court advantage at all. As the 2nd most VALUABLE player in the NBA, he should've been held accountable.

We've seen Lebron (before game 7) get shytted on. Curry, Klay, Westbrook, Durant, Horford, Derozen, Lowry, Horford, and even Aldridge (who carried the most scoring load in the 2nd round) all of them got heavily criticized by the media and fans. With exception of game 3, Kawahi had ok series (not his first time either). He didn't step up or put his team on his back like "superstars" are supposed to. It's not like Kawhi is great passer or creator, so he wasn't making plays for his teammates. And as the two time defensive player of the year, Kawhi couldn't stop Durant who averaged 29 ppg on 50% fg in the series.

Kawhi mainly guarded Westbrook and picked up some ticky tack fouls in the beginning.

Green mainly guarded KD.

The fact that he had to guard both at different times while KD and Russ could chill having Andre R defended Kawhi for the majority of the game says a lot for what Kawhi had to do

:ehh:

Interesting.
3-1 lead in the Finals. Curry put the team on his back?
3-1 lead in the WCF. Durant put the team on his back?
3-1 lead in the WCF. Westbrook put the team on his back?

2014 NBA Finals MVP apparently is not putting the team on your back tho

id take him over AD, PG, Harden, and whoever da fuk been listed in this thread in a heartbeat :manny:

combine his age, defense, leadership, health, and finals experience, i dont think its outrageous at all to say hes a top 5 in the league

i hate using words like this, but he has the best "intangibles" of all the other guys listed

Kawhi plays both ends but Harden > Kawhi offensively :manny: James Harden finished 2nd in the MVP voting in the 2014-2015 season. He was on fire from January on but Curry had the better team. Last season was just an off season for the Rockets. He will bounce back and you'll see he IS a top 5 player.

As for Lillard, dude just turned 26, he's won a couple playoff series for his team already, and he's a top 5 scoring PG in the league, he will have a breakout MVP like season and again, you'll see that he's worthy for that high of a ranking in a year or two
:usure:Thats not enough to cancel out Kawhi bein better overall cause Harden is WOAT on D while Kawhi can play at an All Star level on offense, his offense >>>>>>>> Harden's defense.

:martin:And that Harden MVP thing is a point I always bring up about defense bein underrated, if a player is elite defensively but ass on offense no one would say he a MVP candidate most wouldn't even call him a superstar. Just look at everyone sayin the 04 Pistons won without a superstar even tho Ben Wallace was a 4 time Defensive Player Of The Year winnin it 4 times in 5 seasons wit their championship year smack dab in the middle, yet nikkas have the audacity to say they won without havin a superstar meanwhile Harden comes close to winnin 1 scorin title and he's a superstar MVP contender in errbody's eyes.:francis:

:ufdup:You just admitted Lillard ain't even a top 5 PG in the league you had to preface it by sayin "scorin PG" so he definitely not near top 5 player status, I admit he could be in a few years tho nobody saw Curry bein a top 5 player much less the best player so who knows.:manny:

:mjlol:@ mentionin Horford twice, I never watched Hawks playoff games cause I knew they were pretenders but he musta really been some shyt.
