It's sad that we dont have NEW personalities like P, Suge, Irv, J Prince, Dame, Baby etc. Whether we agree with their tactics or not.
Most artists need people like them. They help mold, develop & build confidence for artists, and makes them focus on just the music, which is good/bad depending on how you look at it.
Some of them are still around of course but not many new &/or familiar ones. Maybe thats why todays TRASH rappers fail both rapping & business wise.
The closest ones we got is probably Punch & Top Dawg, and we see the dopeness as far as talent goes. But of course theres things that we feel need to better about TDE.
And Jay? Idk. I see him more as a corporate entrepreneur. He doesnt strike me as one who helps develop & gives game
to the younger/other artists.
