Dudes just say anything on here

Probably can't name 5 things he been in
Talking bout top 5:dead:

Reading comprehension is a beautiful thing. We are talking talent/ability here, not status or body of work.

Ben affleck and brad pitt have more movies under their belt yet they are not half the actor esposito is.

If we are talking body of work, He's not even in the top 100 as he's only been in a few movies/tv series, however that's not what the topic is about

he's a character actor, so his job is to inhabit different characters. Denzal is a movie star his job is rmro draw an audience and keep them captivated with his screen presence and charisma.

saying Giancarlo is better than Denzal is like saying Pippen is better than MJ because he handles the ball and guards the best player..

However you can say Rasheed wallace and lamar odom are more talented than most powerforwards in the top 30 of power fowards ranking

but it doesn't mean they are on the level of GOAT PF's all things considered such as individual and team achievements.

That was still Denzel playing Denzel as Malcolm X. Denzel is a tremendous orator with screen presence and that’s what allowed him to play Malcolm. For starters he don’t even look like Malcolm.

Giancarlo has more range he can give you Gus Fring, Esteban from Fresh, Adam Clayton Powell in Godfather of Harlem, Julian in School Daze, Buggin Out in Do The Right Thing.

It’s all a different vibe, different accents, can go from dramatic to comedic.

Umm Cry Freedom, the Mighty Quinn, Glory?

Do you even know his filmography?

I think you’re overrating Esposito. I’ve seen him in a good amount of roles but nothing that made me think he was such a phenomenal actor. He played his role and that was it. He’s a good actor but to put him over Denzel is disrespectful.

Well he was Sam Biko in Cry Freedom.. The South African leader who fought against Apartheid.

The Mighty Quinn - A Jamaican police officer

Glory- A former slave fighting in the civil war. He won his first Oscar in that role.

Esposito could never.

Again breh Denzel using his oration skills being the G.O.A.T. monologue guy having that screen presence is why he excelled in that role not because of pure acting.

This dude here might not have the screen presence to be a lead actor but as a side character it’s the best Malcolm I’ve seen in voice tone, looks, mannerisms

shyt Fences and Flight are recent roles where he isn’t playing the typical Denzel we’re used to seeing.

I think when both were young late 80's and 90's Denzel had him by far.
But if you seen breaking bad, better call saul, you would realize that gap has been closed and its alot closer
