All manner of talent trapped in an unlikable, egomaniac shell who burns bridges with all of Hollywood. She not only tried to steal her student's job, but also balked at a solid offer from the agent: coaching and having access to folks she could finesse for roles.

Compare Sally to the director of coda. Ol' girl has talent and passion for her craft, and even she has to humble herself and do the bullshyt super hero movies in order to continue creating the films she wants to. The director even said this clearly to Sally's face but she wasn't hearing any of it.
She'd rather take her chances with a psychopath than to take the money, and keep grinding

Cristobal stupid asf. Dude was all sentimental about them random henchmen...did he forget Hank was a fukkin murderer psychopath and gangster? I swear, in all these shows, these TV shows the wives and lovers of these people who KILL and MURDER and are CLEARLY SOCIOPATHS and PSYCHOPATHS have the greatest cognitive dissonance lmao...

Hank does that too. He was getting in his feelings and upset at Barry on the phone and telling him that’s he’s an evil murderer. So is he.
Hank always projects some deep friendship and brotherhood between him and Barry, but when he’s not doing that, he’s trying to murder him or blackmail him.
Most of the characters are kind of delusional about themselves.

I hate that this show is underrated. It's fukking AMAZING
I will say,
Barry is one of the most broken and disturbing people on TV ever. It's actually got to be difficult for Bill Hader to get out of the headspace of that character...he's a scary motherfukker...the exact person I don't fukk with when you feel it in the air...
