To be fair, the ones that call you papi are the ones that give fire haircuts. My problem are these young Latino brehs charging over $70 for a basic ass buzz fade cut Mean while older Julio cutting the same cut for $30

I've been cutting my own hair since HS. I did it mostly by the sound of the clippers when doing a tight fade. So long as you keep the speed of the clippers up and down motion you can hear how much you are taking off. After that I would hold a mirror with one hand and clean it up with the other hand holding the clippers. Shout out to the medicine cabinet mirror as well.

I used to cut my name in my hair. High top fade, gumby and all that shyt (90s)

Bathroom mirror situation was on 10 tho. Basically 360 view

Today I use a handheld and the medicine cabinet mirror but I take it down to a 2 on the edges instead of tryna fade fade.

Glad that he saw the bigger picture. You gotta stay connected to the community and be aware of its concern about daily expenses and all. Price gouging is now making long time customers skip the shop altogether and distancing yourself from genuinely good people. Going from $20 to $55 in less than 5 years is ripping people off.

Most barbers don't know how to cut your hair the way ask anyway. It's like they can do 3 cuts and that's all they really can do. Ask they ass for a mid taper fade and see if yo shyt don't come out like high box with no cups. nikkas really be trash for real but the "good" barber is really just that one cut that's decent even if it ain't what you asked for.
