So I kept it completely respectful in this thread, as I do when I post back-and-forth with you in the Coliseum, and you come at me with this shyt?

What insult did I sling at you? The only insult(s) that I'm aware of is you just calling me an "autistic fukktard", and yet you have the nerve to accuse me of being an emotional bytch? How did I insult your intelligence - you asked me what the layers were to Andre's shyt, I responded accordingly, and then you went off on a tangent accusing me and others of "being conditioned to believe these guys are spitting some next level, secret code you have to decipher bars that they look for and come up with meanings on their own that really aren't there", I'd say that's insulting my intelligence, is it not?

And you say I'm the one that's being emotional?

:usure:

I thought we was cool, but obviously, you let out what you really think of me. At least I know where you stand now. Good day.
:ehh:

@Gil Scott-Heroin you make some fair points and I may have lumped you in with other posters

That being said, you excel at putting people down without explicitly doing so, I was also responding to that

at the end of the day you place more value on what makes Dre, Dre while I value what Jada does more.

And it's not just punchlines, Jada has a penchant for narrative also so it's not like you're just sitting there waiting for the next punchline like a lot of other rappers

lastly, calling Jada just a punchline rapper is kind of myopic. What people fail to mention is that he's one of the best to ever do it in that particular lane. Y'all cats dismissing it as if it's some easy feat when if that was the case, everybody would do it at his level. But they don't :ld:
Personally, like I said before I never subscribed to the idea that Dre was up there with a Nas. So I guess that's up to everybody's particular tastes, and despite the statements made on the validity of this comparison as dumb or stupid, there is far from a consensus.

Andre 3000 is a pedantic & ostentatious pseudo-intellectual rapper he’s not going over anybody’s heads with his sophistry, his mystique is what makes the average listener think he’s saying some esoteric & arcane poetic shyt, when it’s really just some fake deep smart dumb nikka shyt, what does he talk about directly lol he doesn’t say anything profound or thought provoking, just a bunch of non-sequitur bars

Lord have mercy. The irony of you saying his shyt is smart dumb, when your blatant thesaurus-generated post makes little to no grammatical sense.

I ain’t even vote because I ain’t take it serious don’t get it twisted Jada is nasty.
He has bars that are quotables that rappers turned into dope songs.

But andre’s hooks were already quotables .. that the world sung along too

Yeah
Jada is cool in a very battle rap/mixtape type of way; like he spit lines with a lot of ooohs :ooh: but nothing of real merit that sits and marinates with time.

Jada ain't writing and spitting no shyt that really have a nikka be like "hold up, wait a minute" :ohhh::whoo: and still years later leave you like:wow:

Like Andre's verse on Black Ice is fukking beautiful. His verse on Spaghetti Junction is some of the most abstract shyt I've ever heard. His verse on Return of The G is some of the hardest shyt of all time. His verse on Gasoline Dreams is fukking unbelievable. His verse on The Art of Storytelling is the definition of story telling, that nikka wrote a whole fukking story in ONE fukking verse. Like who does that?!

Andre be writing shyt that runs deep and the shyt is timeless. He on some next level shyt. Andre's shyt is timeless; cause Andre excels at all level of MCing, the rhymes, the lyrics, the storytelling, the metaphors, the similes, the poetry. Andre ain't just spitting dope 1 lines that's catchy or witty, he spitting some shyt with LEVELS to it!

People only give credit to Jada for his punchlines, but dude be spitting them street knowledge bars that be potent as f**k.

As an artist 3stacks is much more versatile and layered. As a pure rapper, Jada got better bars. They are both creative in their own ways. Dre's concepts and imagery versus Jada's wordplay and wit.

They both in my top 25, tho. Different skill set but they both deliver.

My vocabulary is extensive, what you mean 2 say is that my post sounds ultracrepidarian now google that nikka since you wanna be funny & like I said the nikka ain’t saying nothing deep and I don’t know if you or somebody else compared him to nas lol where’s this political social commentary speaking on the socioeconomic plight of black people lol that nikka is bilal if he rapped

There is nothing fake deep or pseudo intellectual about Andre 3000. Every verse he spits is on some common everyday living type lyrics. The depth in them is that they cut beyond the surface. For example, the line where he asks Suzy Screw what she wants to be when she grows up and her response is "alive". Obvious answer, but it is not an expected response because most people would list an occupation. Another example is on Part Two of that song, Andre is talking about everything falling apart around him amd all he wants is safety for his family and to make a song. He describes all of this with poetic allusions to the Biblical Revelations. Hardly pseudo-intellectual or fake deep because the ontent isn't to showcase his intelligence or depth, but merely convey his thoughts and feelings. It doesn't come off as try hard. It's effortlessly done.

Has Jada ever gotten personal talked about ha my family ?
I don’t really feel like I know him

what do you want to know him for?

this isn't a prerequisite for anything. its just a personal preference.

Breh all the greats give a piece of their life in their music and if not, they tell other folks stories impeccably

this is false.

in fact, getting personal in your rhymes is some relatively new chit that didn't become commonplace until the mid-late '90s.

again, its not a prerequisite for anything. its just a preference for some.

- Show me one song Jada has on this level

why do yall always post this wack ass track like its golden??

im batting for the other team, and I feel like tagging in and posting better andre verses than this.

nah not if we're counting mixtapes

shoot, even if we're just counting albums, i'll still take jada over andre.

Scarface wasn’t getting personal in the eighties or krs one with criminal minded ..it westcoast rappers ?
