Man I can't stand Kenny porter
He didn't really have to train until May 3rd, because honestly by the time he fights Porter, only 105 days will have passed since he fought Molina...and he took 0 damage in that fight.
He was still in fight shape PLUS he basically has a cushion of 4 lbs to make weight.
And according to Shawn Porter, AB inquired into fighting him...but at a catchweight of 144 just like he offered Khan...and Porter accepted it asap.
I haven't heard anyone cosign that random story about AB being basically "backed into a corner" by Haymon and forced to take this fight.
I know Porter aint that good but if AB dont land sumthin hard early Porters gonna push him around all fight and have his way. Whoever loses this fight career is pretty much in the bushes IMOPorter just ain't good enough. Nikka is average as hell
Avoid them wild ase left hooks and you'll be straight. Hell if bone didn't tear his acl I think he would have beat him
Agree on both parts but with ab punching power and accuracy no way Shawn can win unless AB doesn't give it his allI know Porter aint that good but if AB dont land sumthin hard early Porters gonna push him around all fight and have his way. Whoever loses this fight career is pretty much in the bushes IMO
WTF Is wrong with my name nikka? If I'm not a ScaryBlackMan why do white people cross the street when they see me coming?Says the guy who named himself "ScaryBlackMan"
You only show up in The Ring to hate on AB...fukk outta here hater
..and how you a grown ass professional dikkrider you getting paid for this? smh...
Regardless of what happens on June 20th my nikka Erroll "The Truth" Spence is the real star of the show
why you duck my tag?Call the next man a dikkrider...
...and then start dikkriding brehs
But I wouldn't expect nothing less from a person who named himself after a stereotype "ScaryBlackMan"
why you duck my tag?
Breh, I usually post during work and I cant have upper management (who have access to every site/page I visit and can screen shot it) stumble across me appreciating "Thick Thottianas"
That's why I dont usually respond to tags in TLR, because it's always something that will get me the at work or at home by the Wife
Porter vs Broner is the fight. If Broner can keep Porter off of him and turn it into a boxing match then he will win. Porter does not have good defensive reflexes. He’s not hard to hit. But he makes up for it with his brute strength and aggression. When he’s working well he keeps you on the defensive and overwhelms you. I like what I saw in Broner in his last fight. He boxed a discipline fight…
So in this match up you have the more talented Broner vs the harder working more disciplined Porter. They say hard work beats talent if talent don’t work hard. But what if talent works hard, who wins then. I really don’t know.
Look for Broner to land lots of right hands. Porter rises up when he’s about to attack and he’s vulnerable to a right hand. He tips off his aggression. Brook literally won their fight by waiting on that single shot all night. Then look for Porter to rush in and swarm Broner. His punches won’t be as clean and eye catching because he’s not as accurate as Broner. He also moves as he’s punching which pulls him off of the target. But he’s going to try to drown Broner out and push him to ropes. Broner can not be lazy. He wasn’t lazy against Molina but Molina does not bring it like Shawn Porter does. Porter fights with a sense of urgency which is a good thing.
The one thing I don’t like about Broner is his workrate has gone down in the past when he’s been put under pressure. If your work rate goes down, your defensive awareness has to go up. This fight is very intriguing. The more I type the more I can envision both fighters winning. I will give you my pick next week.
I’m also interested at how Porter will handle the catchweight. I hate to even bring it up because I don’t want a built in excuse. But Porter is an extremely dense fighter. He was all muscle as a 165lb amateur. I know he makes 147 but I assume it’s not easy. To be forced to cut down another 2 or 3lbs will be stressful on his body. Porter also cuts easy and when you lose large sums of weight you are more susceptible to cuts because your skin lacks fluid. When you try to put that weight back on in one day lots of times you overeat just to feel normal. Broner is an underrated body puncher….Right now if you twist my arm, after weighing in all variables 55/45 in Broner’s favor.
