Yup. This is why I said he needs to fire Mike Stafford & hire Roger Mayweather (after the Paulie Malignaggi fight) who would be a good fit for him. Roger would give him the necessary defensive foundation but teach him how to transition better from offense to defense without having to resort to the holding so much. Plus he would get in AB's ass (no homo) for pulling stupid antics, not using his jab, or having a low punch output.

WTF was Broner doing in this fight ?
nikka had no work rate, combos or jabs all night long . Only thing he did was just throw left hooks and just hold. Breh has no inside game , cant fight going backwards or under pressure.His defense is constantly open to the body. He is still open to hooks n overhand rights. Broner was just letting Porter come in all night trying to counter him . Ab never got off first..just waited for Porter to do something first and had absolutely no fukkin jab all night to offset Shawn.
Lets face it people a is b fighter. A-B-FIGHTER should be his NEW name.
Porter still looked awkward but he did better with his inside body work this time, instead of smothering his work. Speed was good, volume punching was there and he cut off ring good. He still takes alot of punches trying to get in and got careless at the end when ab kd him. he actually dominated broner better than maidana cause ab only clearly won one round.
I would like to see Porter vs Marcos,Thurman,Khan, or a rematch with Brook(7-5 loss). All these guys should be fighting each rather than waiting on May.
May facing Berto or Mayfield next.
Broner needs new trainer and to stop trying to emulate floyd. He also needs to stay at 140 for the rest of his career. Maybe Rances could be next next for ab, but he probably should fight these caliber of guys like...: Ricky Burns ,Paul Spadafora, Omar Figuora, Humberto Soto, Erick Bone, and Fernando Angulo. That's before he steps up again for a 140 title.
Also did I mention that Errol spence is the future and will have a belt on September 12 undercard of FLOYD 49th fight .........
