Nah. It's time for people to just accept broner is not talented enough. The excuse from maidana was that he didn't take it serious. Well he took this training camp serious. Had floyd on his ass the whole way. And he looked no different. Broner has great athleticism, but not great boxing ability. He looks the part. Punches are flashy, good speed, good accuracy. But behind it all he just has no substance and a horrible ring IQ. Maidana woulda finished him off within 6 tonight.
AB needs to go back to the drawing board
I knew this would be an ugly fight for him because of porter's style, I was surprised he was able to knock porter down
he took porter's shots well he should've been more aggressive and he would've stopped porter
broner also had a problem throwing punches, floyd can get away with that because his accurate with his shots and has defense not to get scored on, broner needs offensive to be his defense, because he is clearly a better fighter than porter but lost simply because he didn't fight enough
broner needs to get focused and he needs to get rid of stafford has his second
I'm more disappointed in shawn porter than AB, man has showed zero growth, I'm starting to think he was on roids when he KO'd paulie

i loved ab's countering but he should had let his hands go moreStruggle fight. Too much holding by Broner and I hate Porter's style. I think I probably give him less credit than others because I can't stand Porter's wild swinging style and ugly inside game that makes him look active, but is just rough aggressiveness and no real substance.
Broner disappointed me. He was more skilled and again n didn't show it. It completely looks like his style is to imitate Mayweather and it seems as if it isnt his style, just the one he wants to imitate. His shoulder roll doesn't work and he needs to be more active. When he throws he usually lands pretty clean and sharp punches.
A lot of the fight I was thinking how easy it would have been for Floyd. I don't want to see a Floyd-Porter fight.
I thought it was a draw or Porter deserved a one point win. I just can't stand Porter's game though...
Spence looked excellent. Got hit more than he should have, but maybe that was because he stood in n there to get his opponent out. Maybe Spence is ready for that major step up.
He got beat clearly by a drained Porter. Imagine if Porter didn't have to come in at 144? Yall really let the hate for Porter's herky jerky style blind you nyggas. Porter is arguably the best guy Boner has ever faced as a professional.

Yeah. It's a lack of technical boxing ability. Broner isn't thinking in there, because he doesn't know how. And Broner isn't some otherworldly prodigious physical talent where he can make up for his lack of technical ability. In a weird way I'm actually impressed by him, because he's went far in the game for a dude that fights basically off natural ability.
