As long the Surface brand is behind it. People don't seem to understand new brands take time, new OS take time, cant expect people to switch right away.

Surface Pro will change the game. I'm replacing all Dell Latitudes at work with Surface Pro PC's.

Surface RT is good for students, families
Surface PRO good for work and tech enthusiast
Xbox Surface is for the gamer
Surface Phone is for everybody

Breh you do realize the major complaint with RT is price point and the surface pro is just going to be more expensive, jus because its a full os its going to make things better?

599$ with a keyboard is pretty good not the best your getting a lot with that value your getting a full blown OS plus Microsoft Office.

That's a better deal then a Acer Netbook, iPad or iPad Mini

You can literally use this device as a tablet, laptop, desktop PC you name it. Can you do that with an iPad probably not.

Surface Pro will be more expensive but its a better option than buying a laptop. Let's say its 999$ its a better deal than a MacBook or MacBook Pro 13.

I'm replacing all laptops with Surface Pro's I don't see the point of a laptop unless you need more power or a bigger screen.

Like I said this thing isn't a tablet Microsoft changed the game.

Surface Pro is also facing competition from those ultrabook convertibles. It's gonna be hard for M$.

That's cool man

If you read the article you can only view cant do shyt without a Office 365 subscription. You have full blown Office with Surface and WP8 free of charge.

What if you need to do e-mails and write a one-note document at the same time how does that work on a iPad iPad Mini? You can snap or split views its one-app-at-a-time. That's not very productive.

The D (where it's so cold)
And now, with rumors of a xbox surface tablet , they take even more attention away

Even though this announcement hurts potential sales of the MS Surface RT, that was never a tempting purchase anyway. That Xbox surface is a tempting buy and will excite people and get them talking. If MS can somehow bring the console experience and make it portable, I mean a tablet truly formatted for gaming?:wow:

I still think MS can make some headway into the 7 inch tablet market just not at $500. I can't help but think they should have seen this coming. Not the smartest of product launches. Zune status is right,, the surface rt while better than the Ipad isn't offering an experience that justifies $500.

Surface is more portable, lighter and offers better first party support from MS no bloatware. It's going to sell better than your traditional ultrabook or hybrid. No point in buying a laptop unless you need more power.

:heh: All them shyts gonna be running windows, M$ don't give a fukk. They're first and foremost a software company, but they priced themselves out of the market with the Surface RT. Which begs to question whether or not they did it on purpose. I mean the hardware of the Pro i can understand but the RT version is using 1 year old tablet parts. They could easily lower the price by another $100-150 and still profit.
