This ain't true. Warriors need to salary dump to get Durant and no one took advantage of shyt in that.
What was that giving up serviceable bogut for nothing ?

That helps a team not hurt

The Nets still got our 2nd pick in Russell. We still got taken advantage. Maybe if we kept Russell and he exploded looking like an all star next season then maybe we can get a better asset back that is better than the 27th pick for him. Even if Russell didn't explode he is still young and you could have gotten another team to take on Mozgov's contract if you included him a year later. There was just no need to rush this.
Except we didn't trade the 2nd pick we traded russell

Aside from getting more shooting, I hope Ingram and Zubac continue to show strides at scoring(especially if PG don't come), and Ingram can become more of a playmaker. Expecting/needing Ball to be a big time scorer or the only playmaker is setting Zo up to fail.

As opposed to Randle and Mozgov? Mozgov was the worst defensive C according to stats

People put that shyt squarely on the bigs, but in reality it's a team defense problem.

Before coming to the Lakers Mozgov was an elite rim protector, during his time with the Lakers he was the teams worst rim protector behind Black and Randle.

Ingram is the furture
Ball is the perfect setup guy
I always said randle is nothing more than a great 6th man
We just need a defensive minded sg
And brook is good as a big body for the mean time and can also hit the 3 (which I don't want my big man doing)

Start two slow plodding centers with your fast breaking point guard brehs

I actually like starting Nance at PF even more though.
Plodding but they can shoot. Either way you're giving up something. Randle and nance are athletic bit they aren't stretching the floor

I question if Zubac will even get substantial burn as long as Brook is healthy. Their skill sets are very very similar while Black is an athletic change of pace. And Luke insists on going small with Randle or Nance at C.

So we have a gaping hole at SG and it sounds like we aren't giving any long term deals at SG. :francis:

A trade has to be on the way. I think Clarkson is getting flipped.
