From Reddit:
Some dude on a Lakers forum is saying that he's heard from someone at the organization that there is some non-public information about D Lo that would make teams shy away from him.
Sounds like bullshyt, but eh, I've felt that way before and the poster ended up being Andrew Bynum's agent so.

Here are his comments:
I know someone who's very close to the team (yeah yeah, you can disregard it all you want) but he told me something very confidential about Russell that relates to his character and that to date, has not been publicly disclosed. I won't say what it was because that would be a violation of the guy's privacy (frankly, I shouldn't have been told) but I will tell you that it was EXTREMELY concerning and I can understand why they didn't want to keep him. Having said that, I wish to god they had gotten more value from him. My only point is that you should trust me (random guy on internet whom none of you have met in person) that he was DEFINITELY NOT a person you want on the roster going forward.

What do you think it is brehs?

Not sure what it is, but this isn't surprising. Everyone in the organization just soured on him over time.

I always said it looked like he didn't give a shyt about what happened on the court. He just wanted to look cool and live the LA lifestyle.

Maybe he doesn't like basketball and let it be known he's only doing it for the paycheck? :manny:

Yup.... it's a damn shame they had to trade Russell to clean up Mitch's fukking mess.

Deng's contract is unmovable
They didn't have to...move was premature any way y'all try to spin it. Nobody knows what the cap is gonna be next summer either

Why did this move need to made now?...literally nobody with common sense think this is a good move

Why did the trade have to happen now, why are we clearing cap space NOW?..that's my point
Because they need to get Mozgov off the books NOW. They can't wait til next summer when they're desperate to clear space. Plus, what if Russell regressed and/or his knee issues flared up even worse? There's clearly something there with Russell that we don't know about.

Again...you're being hypothetical. Lakers have other assets than Russell. No need to get mozgov off the books now, could happen a year from
Now...
