theres no indication that this 2 max FA shyt is happening. This fanbase and now front office has placed to much faith in hypothetical situations. even if it was the case, they traded him at the wrong time. He has clearly improved from last year and if he was playing for us we could have traded him for even more value after the season or retained him and brought in another max. and russell being one of the worst defenders is a flat out myth. He has improved alot defensively and can hold his own. you cant literally sit here and tell me you rather have KCP over russell because of defense. russell averaging 20/5/5 in 27 mpg and shooting 45%. we fukked up, plain and simpleActually it very well can be justified.
The way OKC's season is going, PG's chances of being a Laker is damn near a lock if that struggle continues. PG as a Laker recruits Cousins/Lebron then we have 2 max free agents.
DLO is still one of the worst defenders at the guard spot.

he shooting more shots, but is more efficient. he's averaging 20/5/5 in 27mpg. he's a plus player. he plays the same but has gotten better. you cant call a dude that shoots 45% on 17 shots a game inconsistent
Russell being a horrendous defender is a myth? The NY post just wrote an article on how bad his defense is. http://nypost.com/2017/11/02/where-dangelo-russell-is-really-hurting-the-nets/ His defense is actually worse now than ever. That statement alone tells me u a DLO Stan and your judgement is clouded. The team plays better with dinwiddie at the 1 on both ends.

the Lebron shyt makes no sense and the FO should not even be considering it. LeBron has refused to play PF, which means he SF. So that means you gotta put Ingram at PF

thats clearly a poor move. so the next best move is bringing in PG or Cousins.
PG can play SG where there will be hole at next season, and Cousins can play C where there will be a hole

Its a tall order additionally our bench would be filled with vet minimum players and rookies. Randle could be brought back if he accepted a vets minimum, but I doubt he would do that.
next scenario: sign either PG or Cousins
We will have room outright for PG or Cousins without altering the roster. if the deng contract is moved you can maybe bring back Lopez or KCP if you wanted. or pick up a non-max center in Fa
so either: Lonzo, PG, Ingram, Kuzma, (Lopez, Randle, Noel?)
or: Lonzo, (Clarkson, Hart, KCP), Ingram, Kuzma, Cousins
