Slap yourself.
Notice your the only one still hating in Randke. Thats a sign its time to stop. Randle has had the highest DPM in damn near every game. And Randle hasnt even played more than 22 min a game this season, so saying he doesnt have the fatigue to player more minutes its just bs until proven otherwise. Why cant you just admit he has just improved? You literally have zero evidence that he cant play more minutes, just your own wishful thinking. And....you were dead wrong about Nance being better defensively and offensively. Randle has been better by any metric on both sides. Randle has been the most productive player on the team and its not even debateable. Time to admit you were wrong.

Before summer league I predicted Lonzo would average less then 10 points per game on his rookie season but then summer league happened and he showed way more scoring potential then I ever imagined. So naturally I shifted expectations a little bit.

But...right now he is playing pretty much how I expected before summer league. He is shooting just as bad as Ingram was last year except Zo is in the spotlight and is often at the point of attack. Ingram had the luxury off coming of the bench and being brought along slowly, but let us not forget how horrible he shot everywhere on the court last year until the All-Star break.

Like Ingram did, Lonzo will have to improve little by little on fundamentals like footwork, drawing contact on drives, consistently using the same shooting mechanics, going up strong, etc. The good thing is he is above average on every other aspect of the game besides scoring.

I’m just happy he can actually contribute and be a positive player as a rookie. Everyone is so quick to judge these guys in their first year. I’m still very optimistic about his potential.

Not reading past the first sentence. I've advocated Randle off the bench for years and surprise, surprise, he's having his most efficient season. Randle is meant to be played in spurts again bench units. He can get his confidence up against them plus overpower them and take advantage of his quickness.

Exactly. I love the future potential of Ingram, Lonzo and Kuzma and like some of the other pieces around them. Having a rim protector and strong rebounder at the 5 would make this team a playoff contender going forward. For now Brook's scoring is helpful while the youngins get their feet under them on offense. Not sure about KCP or Hart yet. KCP has flashes of being damn good and being horrible. Hart looks like he might be solid as hell if he can get his jumper going.

stop with this disingenuous bullshyt. you werent advocating for him to be benched because you thought he'd be good off the bench, you were advocating for him cause you didnt like him and wanted Nance starting. Dont try to act like some genius. The fact is, he is the most productive player on the team and has produced against starters (wizards, pelicans, pistons, blazers) and bench players like. Further, your argument falls to shyt when you consider the fact that he has played limited minutes in the past and has never produced at this level. Dude just got better, plain and simple. You are one of the few Laker "fans' that wont admit it or just flat out ignorant.

Your argument about him overpowering bench player holds no merit. You are making a baseless claim that starters are inherently stronger/bigger/faster than bench players. You have nothing to support this.

KCP is REALLY good defensively, but he tries to do too much on offense at times. If he could shoot 40%+ from three, he'd be worth the $18 million he's getting.

1000% agreed.

Randle is trash in major minutes. Dude is just a stupid, predictable player that does well when going against backups

Another thought: If we’re trying to win then Randle needs to play more. I don’t know if it’s some kind of mind games going on or if Magic/Pelinka are telling Luke to cut his minutes, but Randle has been vital for our bench and switching on defense (something I thought I would never say). Bogut and Brewer together in that first quarter last night was pissing me off...

Him and Clarkson are playing the best ball of their careers because their minutes are lower. The more tick they get, the more inefficient they'll become.

I still think they should probably trade Randle, especially while his value is up, because of the contract he'll command in the summer. I imagine he'll get at least what Clarkson got. Can you build a contending team with two bench guys taking up a quarter of the cap?

I think they should trade him as well and it will be beneficial for both parties.

Hopefully, GM's don't watch games and do what most Randle fans do and go by stats per minute, because his stupidity will turn off most teams.

He needs to be sebt off somewhere for an intelligent player. Unfortunately we don't really NEED anything. I would package him with someone and just get somebody that can shoot 3's with a high IQ.

I think they will trade him and I'm ok with that if he commands value in return. I'm curious if they can swing him and pieces for Paul George if he and OKC continue struggling. He's not fitting in quite smoothly there. Pelicans and Cousins are also on notice.

I was just saying that for as long as we keep him, he helps us win as opposed to our current alternatives. Bogut should not see the floor beyond injury or foul trouble.
