What a lot of y'all are missing is the fact that fashion, like music, ain't as ubiquitous as it used to be. There are no more relatively universal trends anymore. Nikkas just live in their niches
Baggy is "back" but you're not gonna see a sea of baggy jeans anywhere you go like you would 20 years ago. And honestly the baggy trend is still heavily entrenched in hipster circles more than anything else. I've seen more young hipster Asian girls in baggy pants than any young nikkas
Overall nikkas just wearing whatever they feel like wearing based on their personal tastes
Take a friend group of let's say five 20-23 year old black males, 3 of them nikkas dressing like YoungBoy, one might be wearing some baggy shyt based off something he saw in a Yachty video, and the other one is dressed like he's in a punk band

3. Watch what's available in abundance at the thrift stores. If you see two whole racks of big jeans that's where a new trend will pop up because a previous one has been bled dry. Like when nikkas bought up all the flower/Hawaiian shirts from 2014-2018
