Love both but I am baptized in and a practicing member of baduizm. :lawd: erykah badu is my second favorite female artist of all time (behind Janet). I can still play baduizm front to back daily, miseducation gets a couple skips. Both answers are acceptable, but for me, erykah is life.

Headwrap erykah, mayne :wow:
I rock with you 100% but Miseducation was a glitch in the matrix for me. People may ridicule me for it, but Mama's Gun is better than Baduizm and Miseducation. Nothin really fukkin with Mama's Gun too much.

As a matter of fact I'd say that Miseducation vs. Mama's Gun was a better comparison.

Miseducation... by far. Baduizm never amazed me. Other than On & On, Next Lifetime, and Other side of the game the album is somewhat bland to me. Miseducation is a definitive Soulful hip hop album.

:mjlol: People just being contrarians because Miseducation was so commercially embraced.
only an idiot would act like badiuzm is a contrarian opinion, and you're acting like it's some landslide. please keep your UK lack of insight to yourself. badu hit heavy in the mainstream and black community with baduizm. shyt was a critical darling, no it wasn't as commercially successful, but just as heavily lauded. shyt is front to back fly

edit: badu has been way more consistent as well, she's still going

This right here, but you can't blame nobody. Who was really checking for either unless you was listening to the radio or your girl put you on one :manny:.

I wasn't actively trying to hear either until after the fact and understood the error of my ways.

:russ: just not you judging by impact of both albums. The radio played damn good music until the early 2000s.... so why wouldn't you be listening to the radio in '96-98? :dahell:

You never heard of the Fugees? You never heard Lauryn rap? You weren't interested to see what she'd do on a solo? On & On wasn't a dope fukkin single? Or were you just too young?
