I've known and seen some bad Liberian women in person. In fact some of the baddest west african jawns in general I've seen were from Liberia or her parents grew up there.
Btw I didn't get to vote in the Afro-Cuban poll and there's no way they should've finished as high as they did. Never even seen or met an Afro-Cuban in person but no way, the average Afro-Cuban is more attractive than the average Somali or Guyanese woman.

I hate when people only associate West Africa with Nigerians and Ghanaians when West Africa is waaaay more with badder women.
Liberians are just the first so far.
I understand Somalis since I kinda flopped for them by not posting pics directly in the thread. But no way in hell are Afro-Cubans above Guyanese who are top 5 in the Caribbean.

Liberians arent stuck up either so much of the times people dont even know they are dealing with Liberians since many have english names.
My only gripe with Liberian women is the ones who are not born in america but immigrate here tend to be birds unless they came here really young.
Liberian parents are chill as hell to so you dont run into issues like you do with Nigerians. Pretty much as long as you carry yourself with respect nobody will give you any trouble.
Some of the Liberians I posted seem to have a AA" look(I don't know how to explain it). Are there still a lot of American-Liberians? Or are they "endangered." Not trying to be offensive.
Americo Liberians are a non factor in modern day. Majority of liberians have nothing to do with Americo Liberians genetically as Americo liberians tended to intermarry and rarely married out to indiginous groups (more so because their numbers werent big).
It boils down to people "sterotyping" how Africans look. I don't "look" African to most people and i can find AAs who look more "African" than me.
I think as far as Liberia is concerned Non Mande tribes tend to have the "sterotypical african look" mean while the Mande tribes tend to have people who people think are AA.
But with the intermixing of indiginous tribes even that is a mixed bag.
I'm just curious to where they are or do they even exist? Like their numbers...
And yeah I definitely think a number of AAs descent from Mande people. I know Africans are very diverse but for some strange reason some Liberians I seen look straight up AA. I KNOW many Africans don't have that "stereotypical African look" especially West Africans like Mande, Fulanis, Woolof, Igbos, Tuaregs,etc but you still I notice that certain Liberians look more AA than the MANY repeat MANY Africans that do not have that stereotypical look. Hope I make sense.
Typically if you ever see a liberian with the last name Tolbert or Freeman Good chance they are americo liberia. I think johnson is another last name that was common amongst them.
You also have a decent number of Liberians with German ancesty too like the current President Sirleaf.
Alot of the Mande slaves went to the Carolinas i believe and then of course south america. From a liberia perspective the winward coast had the least amount of slaves come to the new world.
I know the Kru tribe is the main tribe that played a role in slavery but it was more so them working on ships because they were skilled at sea navigation. I believe they actually fought against europeans initially.
Most people think my mom is from the islands when they meet her.
