Yeah I saw that. Seems plausible.

Genetic studies do show some ancient West Eurasian admixture which was the result of back-migration, and some people cite these studies to prove that we're mixed. Only problem is that at the time that this back-migration is supposed to have taken place (pre-agriculture), people most likely did not look the way they do today. So West Eurasian DNA does not necessarily = Cac. Most people who debate this make the mistake of applying modern race theory (which, by the way, is not based on genetics) to people who have been extinct for thousands of years.

no truth to this at all and this lie by Horners needs to stop being said. the Africans who came out of the East African rifts were not cushytic or any present-day ethnicity tbh.

EXACTLY... But more importantly during that time Middle Easterners looked no different than Africans.

Not only that but most of the "Middle Eastern" lineages like J found in Horners came during that EXACT time i.e the Neolithic.Again going by the appearance of J carrying Middle Easterners next door in Yemen and southern Arabia they weren't the light-skinned hairy Middle Easterners many would have you believe! So how "Eurasian" or "mixed" are Horners when the people next door not only looked the same but there was consistent back and forth migrations to question what is "non-African." This is why people question if basel Eurasian is even "Eurasian."

Yeah I too get tired of certain horners spreading this myth. YES horners do carry ancestry of those ancient East Africans but that is due to mixing with them and not being direct descendants. People need to understand that Horners and Southeast Bantus like Kenyans/Tanzanians aren't the only East Africans but also these guys.

We're the only descendants of whoever those people were. They're extinct now, but they were autochthonous according to research.

They were damn sure not Niger-Congo :mjpls:

Turkana are not pure.

The people who used to roam East Africa before the Cushytes were related to nilotics, but they are extinct and we are their only direct descendants. I can post a study which affirms this by the way
