Bad Idea to cop a PS4 right now?

MK is what got me itching but I`d also catch up on the fighting games I missed out on. The thing that got me on the fence is that I hear PS5 is going to be fully backward compatible which would technically allow me to catch up on old games. And 2020 is next yr so if something thats going to be the wave for the next 5 yrs is around the corner then I might as well wait especially since the PS4 doesn't get discounted heavy like the Xbox

Me personally, I sold my 4 last year for the same reasons n copped a switch this christmas. I was gonna get a 4 again , but that wired article convinced me to wait

Wrong. I have both. MK11 graphic look way better. I love both but MK11 much better than MKX

Cop a 4 dude. PS5 nearly two years away and will cost $500.00. Cop the 4 now and upgrade to the 6 when it's cheaper, the 5 will play all the games that run on the 4.

Is the Pronworth it? I see Best buy got refurbs for 350. I have an older 4k TV so i doubt it has the real HDR and all that good stuff.
