JD Davidson should be playing in these last regular season games. I want to see what he has against NBA competition

We Play the Heat tonight but yeah I was hoping to see JD develop like Payton Pritchard has. I guess he’s closer to Jordan Walsh as far as development goes. I’m sure both of them will play more next season. Baylor Scheierman leapfrogged both of them on the rotation, being in college 5 years made Scheierman be ready to contribute in the league quicker than Walsh & JD. I fully expect them to get bigger roles as Celtics are forced to get rid of some veterans due to the team avoiding 2nd Apron penalties.

Even though both Jayson and Jaylen have decent numbers, they obviously didn't take tonight seriously. Just came back from a long road trip. #2 seed already locked up. What's the point of not giving the young players some burn?

I have no idea why they putting Jaylen Brown out there on a bad knee on meaningless games.
My guess is he wants to meet the All NBA threshold
But I think they should shut him down until the playoffs. 2 weeks of rest should do him good
Honestly I don’t think he will get an All NBA spot. Might sneak in if KD and Brunson end up not coming back and Jaylen Brown making the team won’t affect his supermax deal. If he wants to play through it that’s fine but it doesn’t look good to see him limp up and down the court, he admitted postgame he was in some pain during the game.
