Josh is a company guy so he's gonna ride for whoever he's with. He never shoulda got fired from WWE anyway.

If Joe wrestling on Jakked in 2001 is what made him star why isn't Jimmy Jacobs a star if he wrestled on Smackdown against Eddie is my point. WWE didn't make Joe by any means. CM Punk was barely in TNA, not even close to the same thing. Joe vs Angle is what made Joe a star. Most people don't know or care about his sixty minute ROH title matches against CM Punk. Nobody in ROH has ever been a huge name while they were in ROH. WWE made CM Punk in my opinion, not ROH and this is coming from someone who was there live for Punk's big send off at Punk: The Final Chapter. People know Joe from TNA and they know Punk from WWE. You have to be a indy fan to know them from ROH. I'm not denying that ROH played a huge part in them getting to where they are now, but it wasn't where they became stars. His name rings bells, he became a huge name during his ROH run, NOT TNA. I personally first knew of him from watching a MV of his Japan run set to RATM "Killing in the Name" Hell, the first forum I ever joined became Joe's official. He was top 5 status years before he set foot in TNA. Did TNA make Punk too? And what does Jimmy Jacobs fighting Eddie have to do with anything? Google shows that they wrestled on SD and I wasn't watching at the time so explain your point.

1000% bullshyt
Joe's gonna kill you chants in his debut? Listen to the commentary. Joe came into TNA as a champion and a known commodity.
CM Punk chants on his debut night. That many people watched Punk the previous year on OVW TV on Louisville,KY public access?
By indy fans. And he may have been 0-13 but he main evented against Jericho his first night and was treated like a big deal from the start on commentary and feuding with the most hated guy at the time Michael Cole. Of course he got the most votes.Daniel Bryan was 0-13 on NXT in 2010 and still was voted #1 every week by the fans because he came into WWE known, and was the most well known on the show
Of course the E didn't make Joe, but to defend Josh is BS because they knew of Joe before he was ever in TNA. He was in their developmental company at the time with Cena, they KNOW this guy. I mean JR told Joe straight to his face that he won't ever make it in the biz. I didn't watch when they (Joe/Punk) debuted in each company (TNA/WWE) but like @dh86 said they were already known. Yes, the crowds were full of smarks, indy fans, whatever. Has TNA ever been considered a major? Even as the #2 weren't they looked at as indy? And this isn't a knock on the company, I was a huge fan when they started, even ordered their first special event "PPV" or whatever the deal was (that AMW leg drop off the cage ) and watched off and on since watching wrestling again the past 5 years. I will say that I know many people going nuts for Joe debuting in NXT were calling him fat or Sloppy Joe while he was in TNA. Just like they went nuts for Sting and will go nuts for Angle when he comes back.If Joe wrestling on Jakked in 2001 is what made him star why isn't Jimmy Jacobs a star if he wrestled on Smackdown against Eddie is my point. Sure WWE had Joe in their company before TNA, but almost no WWE fans knew who he was before TNA. That's the point Josh was making and the point I'm defending. TNA may be considered indy by some but they were watched over the years by a larger and more casual audience. Someone could just turn on Spike TV at the right time and catch TNA for years but to watch ROH you had to order the DVD/VHS or go the live show. The reason NXT fans would know Joe now days is because of TNA in my opinion. Most ROH fans I come across on the internet seem to have started watching ROH after Joe left so it doesn't make sense to me how they would know him from ROH.Of course the E didn't make Joe, but to defend Josh is BS because they knew of Joe before he was ever in TNA. Wwe talks about ROH and has brought in their former talent and used roh footage . Why are we acting like tna joe vs angle feud wasn't in like 2008 and since then it's been been nothing but shenanigans mostly . Tna has no respect hence why Roh can tour and have a TV deal and sell merch and sell ppvs . Why discuss that company on nxt a actual hot companyI was a ROH fan from 2002-2006 and even I know that's a god damn lie. NXT commentators don't watch Jakked. Jimmy Jacobs beat Eddie Guerrero in one of Eddie's last matches by DQ. Nobody but indy fans know who Jimmy Jacobs is.
You'd be right if he left after angle feud and if wwe didn't have punk , Bryan , Rollins , Owens and steen ,your acting like in 2015 people don't reference ECW still , you don't think wrestling fans don't know the wrestlers from roh ??Sure WWE had Joe in their company before TNA, but almost no WWE fans knew who he was before TNA.
