Sounds like Turkey is deeply involved in this
so the orange is azerbaijan (it looks clear, but i just want to be clear because the borders look retarded) and the green armenia? if so why the fukk is that little bit of orange on the armenian side azerbaijan? so you have to cross another country to get to another part of your country? that should be armenia's.

the thing is they're not even fighting over that. seems like armenia is cool with being the meat in an azerbajani sandwich. they're fighting over the yellowish part. i just thought that was a weird ass border. gotta go through 2 checkpoints. i guess if armenia says fukk off you're not passing they can go through iran to get to the rest of their country.I would love to see you as a diplomat or a peace broker breh

i didn't even know they had beef like that until 2018 when arsenal were going to baku to play some bumfukk team from there and Henrikh Mkhitaryan (copy and paste from google) was banned from travelling there because he's armenian. and ironically we had to go there a 2nd time in may 2019 because the finals were in baku (less said about that the better).

This whole shyt is Stalin fukkery from when he expanded south. fukked with the borders to create divisions between groups so as to make things easier should they try to split from the USSR.
i looked this up and it looks like that western azerbaijani region, Nakhchivan, was originally contested as part of Armenia or Azerbaijan because it had both Armenians and Azeris. When the Soviets were governing both countries they gave it to Azerbaijan because there were more Azeris living there, and gave another contested area Zangezur to the Armenians for the same reason. it didn't really become a big issue until the USSR broke up because it was all the same country
