The funny thing is that Banks was next up, she was going to be the EDM response to Nicki. But her attitude and ridiculous beefs got her put on timeout. Then she got blackballed after insulting execs and gay people; gay dudes were her main audience at one point, now they're gone. So she's left with a bunch of female "fans" who are switching to Iggy daily.

The industry was always trying to get a white female rapper, but they didn't think any were ready. Iggy capitalized and hit the perfect wave. Dunno if she'll last though - I think she's just the appetizer to see how the market reacts. The verdict is in, and now a more talented white chick with actual star presence will be introduced in a year or two.
