if i remember correctly, i threw that song in that genre to compare to starships which is hip-pop (rapping +pop music + singing)
sorry i didnt say progressive trip hop incorporating dance music when it came to banks. how else would you market her??
i was going by the concept if i lowered the speed of her beats it would be perfect trip hop instrumentals.. idk.
i took it as experimental trip hop with the sounds and the drums and all the other shyt going on.

the source once did an article with a tree that branched out all the artists into categories or some shyt. it showed who belongs with who. whos more gangsta rap...whos more pop rap. if i remember correctly. that was maybe in 2001 or something.
