Other teams that were already better than them still made trades to improve their teams while the Bulls just sat on the their hands and talked about continuity. How can anybody be surprised by how the season is going?
Not that I disagree but my only question I been asking since the offseason is, who were we supposed to go and get? And the dragic and Drummond additions were good

What I do put on the back of akme is not addressing the loss of lonzo ball and not adding more 3pt shooting. Looking at what Utah got for bojan bogdonovic you would figure we could have matched that package to get some shooting but it appeared we were heavy set to give bigger roles to ayo and Patrick Williams and that hasn't panned out. How deep does this hole have to get before akme fix the holes?

AKME maxed out their salary cap on the 3 allstars …there was likely no trade to be made that wouldn’t have ended them up in the Luxury Tax and that wasn’t about to happen under Jerry’s watch :mjlol:

Ball never playing a nba game again also isn't going to help lol

yea I agree with publicly shytting on Billy but Zach ain't playing well enough nor has he had the level of success in his career to do this either
Lack of quality pg and shooting is hurting us but if lavine was doing more than giving us 1 30 pt game the entire season we could have masked those weaknesses better. Don't really want to see public criticism to Donovan when he has been a shell of himself most the season.

Better coach would trot out a better scheme :yeshrug:

That's a thing too, what is going through the heads of akme on that situation, do they believe he will play again at some point? And if it appears he outta here what are they going to do to remedy his absence because the pg by committee is not going to work clearly.

Some of this def on Donovan

Just right message wrong messenger

Ehh, Lavine been here for a while and has had some crazy seasons individually. He can speak up.

When you look at Donovan he isn't like a Pop, Kerr, Ime that breh out in phoenix, mike brwon etc...

where you can account for about 5-10 extra games being won off of just them being a good coach (if they talent isn't absolutely terrible)

I mean when you think about it the roster has been badly put together from the start. The Bulls best player was an offensive minded iso player that won't play defense. And they thought they could add two more players like that in Vuc and Demar because they're stars. The roster was never built for success.

Yea but with this response you never told me who they were supposed to go and get. You said they sat on their hands, what moves were they supposed to make?

As far as the roster never built for success their is evidence to the contrary we will simply agree to disagree on that one, but I will say that a vital piece to that puzzle did go down. Losing lonzo removed about 3 key aspects of our offense and a elite defensive presence specifically a guard who defended at the point of offensive execution well. Donovan elected to try to cover that loss with ayo. And that hasn't worked out.

I said this before the season started ,these homers were talking bout have more pride & 48-50 wins :mjlol:

They also didn’t address a glaring weakness in lack of 3 point shooting, the bench being better is the difference between the bulls being play in status instead of down there with the hornets & pistons in the standings

NBA GMs couldn't even call it with this team coming into the season because of everything that could go wrong on right. Regardless of the shooting woes, the inconsistent standard of play is the real issue.

If they played with the same amount of detail and intensity that they played against Boston and Milwaukee with every night they are winning on most nights.

Lol 50 wins a top 4-5 seed fam.I got em 42-44 wins , 9-10 play in status

Can’t sweep under the rug how they fell off defensively, offensively & in transition without lonzo. They already shot the lowest amount of 3’s in the league & their best volume shooter from 3 out for however long

Cavs, nets & hawks all got better & finished behind the bulls last season. Still no rim protector & lost one of the best point of attack defenders in the league. P will & ayo gonna need to have a monster breakout seasons to change this

:sas1:Nba gm’s don’t know shyt

I'm not sure what specific players they could have got because it's not my job to know that. However, it doesn't take a professional to see that this roster is flawed. You see it in how they play. My point is they need to figure out how to improve the roster. Good front offices find a way to make shyt work. Every other team found a way, but the Bulls can't? Bullshyt.

I'm not saying AKME need to be fired, but we can't keep making excuses for them. Billy Donovan is not a good coach imo, but he can only do so much with the talent given. They knew what kind of coach he was when they hired him. So, it was on them to find players that fit his scheme and they clearly failed at that.
