The contract extension news for Donovan that came out took away a lot of the optimism I had for the idea of a reset.

I mean. Green outplayed Pat before the season began. That's when he should have inserted him in the starting lineup.
Caruso is a bench player and the Bulls have gotten off to slow starts with him too

He isn't wrong. Change in the starting lineup has barely helped if at all, but honestly I think that's more of a talent issue. I'm not a pro Billy guy, but he can only work with the talent he's given. Some blame has to go to AKME for putting this roster together. They need to do their jobs.
Other teams that were already better than them still made trades to improve their teams while the Bulls just sat on the their hands and talked about continuity. How can anybody be surprised by how the season is going?
AKME maxed out their salary cap on the 3 allstars …there was likely no trade to be made that wouldn’t have ended them up in the Luxury Tax and that wasn’t about to happen under Jerry’s watch

I said this before the season started ,these homers were talking bout have more pride & 48-50 wins
They also didn’t address a glaring weakness in lack of 3 point shooting, the bench being better is the difference between the bulls being play in status instead of down there with the hornets & pistons in the standings

And they shouldn't have done that. They didn't need 3 Allstars. They needed players that fit with the scheme of the team and instead chose starpower. None of the big 3 fit together. Just doing whatever it takes to sale tickets. And yes, I know that has to do with Jerry.
