He finally made playoffs, just starting to get national commercials, is in a top 5 market on a legacy team that has a good FO that isnt afraid to make moves

Makes no fukking sense to trade two first round picks for Vuc, throw major cash at Demar, Lonzo, Caruso, then go nah at giving Zach money.

Mike Reinsdorf been treating the team like its in a major market. AKME said they came here to win and have been huge in the team rebuilding its rep.

Letting a dude like Zach, a guy that seems to be liked by other players and coaches, go because we didn't want to pay him is a to what they've been doing.

They didnt make all these moves the last 2 years to let a 25+ pt scorer entering their prime to just walk. Knee issues are concerning but doesnt appear to be anything structural or degrnerative.

Worst case you trade him down the line if there are issues
