these are the last 6 games we are going to see Coby in a Bulls uniform, there is no way its on the radar to pay him a contract to stay here longterm. AKME gonna cut bait while they can salvage value

When I said move him people in the thread gave me grief. He was playing good ball but now his value is low. Only thing is he can get hot for 3-6 weeks to up his value.

I don't know If flipping coby or even vucevic solves the issues here. We do need lonzo back but there is enough talent here to at least be competitive. This is beyond the fit of players or who needs to be traded or not. This is a team that has thrown in the towel on themselves and this season. That us typically a sign that they are done with the coach. The players clearly still get along with each other. What they are running is not working and they are frustrated by that. I'm seeing many teams with less do more. I think the moves have to start with replacing Donovan. Otherwise it's just moving furniture around on the titanic if the off season is just flipping players.

Agreed

Move #1 has to be getting a new coach

Then you can make personnel decisions

As far as players, my keepers

Zach
DD
PWill
Ayo
Caruso
Lonzo
DJJ
Javonte

The rest should be replaced/traded:camby:
Now you just hollering at the moon :russ: we are not getting a new coach fam, they are not gonna chop this team until they show them that they trash trash when not injured , calm die angry man trot :mjlol:

Bruh im talking about keeping most of the players tho:dwillhuh: its not like im talmbout a whole new roster

Im only talking about Coby and Vuc and not bringing back spare parts like TBJ, TT and Bradley....

And BD is who he is. Every team had injuries.....thats not an excuse:stopitslime:. Spo was winning with old ass Lowry and G Leaguers when Bam and Butler were injured. Other coaches did the same. We all know Donovans limitations hold back the team....he aint gonna suddenly learn to construct a real offense or how to make in game adjustments/rotations. He a Doug Collins type coach....perfectly ok but lacking. The team not fighting after ASG shows me that players arent invested in him....they laid down a lot and that has fukk all to do with injuries

Why fukk around and play out the string, do it expeditiously

I really dont think im talking about anything too rash:yeshrug:

Gotta keep taking steps forward, cant just run it back and hope for the best

COVID was beating our ass in Dec/Jan, but we still fought.

We've been one of the worst teams in the league since the break.

Like @Trot LaRoc said, other teams have dealt with injuries, but the teams with good coaches at least look like they belong on the court when they're up against good teams.

Lol.its all good. Not mad atcha breh:pachaha:...i know we just different kinds of fans:manny: but im sorry BD just aint it

There's just too many flaws with him and in the NBA coaching does matter. Most teams have a lot of talent so having the best coach possible is extremely important. Even with the injuries, the fact players constantly came out with no fire/sense of urgency until we found ourselves down by 18 in the 3rd is an issue of coaching pure n simple. Donovan aint the hill to die on

Can we at least agree that Vuc should go?:mjlol:

I thought fans was being too hard on Vuc in the beginning of the season, but we here now entering playoffs and he's still terrible. :francis:

I'm not gone say Billy needs to be fired, but I'm not impressed with his coaching this year. It seemed like he was much better last season despite missing the playoffs. Maybe he just needs more time to get familiar with the roster.
