been playing madden 20 and jedi fallen order to hold me over

but yeah back in the day , day one i was buying like madden and fifa then like a few months later ish is like 30 on black friday, or you can get a used copy on ebay for like half price.

I remember buying mass effect andromenda for like 70cdn, two weeks later sold it for 50 like 2 months lter was like 19.99

Tbh, if you've been buying games day one this year, you really fukked up. No one is really releasing anything ultra polished rn. I think last year was really good though, but then again, people almost knew a bunch of those games WOULD be good. Only really a handful of developers you should be pre-ordering or getting day ones on.


I fukked up because I was behind 2-3 years on NBA 2K, so I got the digital version pretty much day one. shyt ain't even installed on my console rn

Basically the same thing except Best Buy allowed 20% off as long as the game was new even if it came out a month ago

Kingdom Hearts 3

MK11

and the Nintendo games because they don’t fukking go down in price

They're still selling Mario at full price

That’s why I’m waiting to but SW around Christmas. It’s ea so it will be cheap in the following months. Only game I’m current in is Destiny the other games I play are old and bought those on sales. I just finished Horizon Zero Dawn

There are a few I’ll buy day one but I’m so compulsive I tend to wait

I don't buy games for anymore than $20 period. I was tempted to cop RDR2 on PC rn for $42 but then I realized that they're selling the PS4 version for $30 or less I'll check the price on the summer sale

Honestly though my backlog is ridiculous... other than RDR2 I'm good on buying any games next year.
