family guys jokes are better imo if you put up the funniest shyt they ever said vs the funniest shyt south park ever said

im a south park stan if anything, but in 2008 they hit a TERRIBLE run that they never recovered from. every ep is a "we're gonna address this pop culture reference' and thats the joke because the actual show isnt funny

The video OP put up is from an episode that aired three years ago. The show was already past its prime.

I still watch FG for the occasional funny joke, but nothing will top the first five or six seasons. Even the episodes I liked from the past couple of years haven't really aged that well.

The one thing I hate now is that they make really specific observational jokes that don't go anywhere. Like in an episode a couple weeks ago where Peter is at the baseball game and he asks something like, "Can I have an extra-long hot dog on an extra-short bun?"

"Sure. And the bathroom is right there between the mustard and ketchup dispensers that no one ever uses."

"Great. I can't wait to go to the bathroom and use it where there's no stall and twenty guys are waiting for me to finish."

They make telling jokes look really hard sometimes.

Damn seeing people hype up the first few seasons of family guy on here is mad confusing. Can't be the first few seasons with the ridic shytty animation and stiff ass sounding voice actors. Family guy IMO was at it's best from like seasons 4-10.

Literally the only things worse in the early seasons compared to now is the bolded...and the voice acting was only noticeably bad in season 1

The actual humor and jokes were clever and funnier back then, as hard as it is to believe watching it today

Seasons 4 and 5 is where shyt started to fall off but it still had some of its original charm. Everything after that was just retarded and mostly unfunny shyt (Conway Twitty...... )

I feel like the show got too popular for its own good to the point where a lot of people diss the original seasons. Some fans probably think the show started in 2005.

One of my favorite jokes from the show is when Lois calls Peter a child, and Peter responds with, "You better watch who you're calling a child, Lois. Because if I'm a child, you know what that makes you? A pedophile. And I'll be damned if I'm gonna sit here and be lectured by a pervert."

The dialogue was a lot snappier back then and all the characters were entertaining in their own way, especially Peter. Now he's just a glorified manchild 95% of the time.

When I think about the run this show could have had if it never got cancelled...............
