Would it be silly to say Venom 2 was an L for Sony? If there are no metrics, I guess that's the end for posting any of kind of new movie review or score?

What are you basing any of that on? RT scores? So for the most part all of those were ages ago and even WW84 which was trash to me has 59% or something and a positive fan score.. How's that not "well received" if you go my majority then you'd have to say most people thought it was acceptable.

That's why this is dumb.. Don't argue about what other "people" may have thought... you have people in this thread who have a different opinion. Many people.

You could have tried to counter their argument but instead you are stanning for Marvel Lol..

But WW84 was “well received” and any kind of review or metric is irrelevant... but maybe not? The projection and irony :heh:

By your awful "logic" it was... that was your logic... not mine. You stan so heavy you can't even take the time to read and comprehend :mjlol:

You got many people you can engage with here but you wanna talk what "others" said elsewhere.. Lol

To do what? Come and go, get mixed reviews and not perform at the box office? lol

Intention. Thanos was a dumb character. Manhattan already spoke about the nature of consumption and that this balancing act won't lead to anything. The Avengers movie was fruitless but composed of enough little moments that entices the crowd. I wasn't impressed and felt quite dull after reflection. Follows the Marvel formula to a T.

And completely miss the point of the graphic novel?

:mjlol:

That graphic novel, if it were to be adapted with the subtleties would need to be done by a Polanski type director. I think it would still go over the audience's heads as this one did.

Watchmen had scope, can't say the same for this. As the movie it delivered what it did, there are no winners or losers, only curators of a vision.

Are you referring to the book or the movie?

The year 3030
would snake eyes really count as a CBM? More of a toyline right?

GI Joe toys/cartoob came before the comics right?

Brightburn was a comic adaptation?

TF was adapted from a comic too?

even though the OG MIB was inspired from the comics, would a sequel far removed from it still be considered a CBM?

Are you just naming flicks you think are CBM's?

The movie. I took it for what it was. If I wanted the graphic novel I would read it. Snyder's vision brought that film and that was his interpretation of the material. Can't bring hypothetical because we got what we got...

If the fans are too stupid to get the movie either way...might as well give them a fighting chance by not sending mixed messages. I don't think you need to go and get a pedophile to do that, you just need to know your audience.

I've not seen a movie that tops Rosemary's Baby in terms of directing from using source material. All of that pedophile stuff

If you are feeling left out of the actual thread about the movie I guess this is the only recourse, make a thread about how much you didn't like it. A couple of years later no less. At least it keeps the movie topical.

There is a such thing as having a different opinion than the masses and really standing by your point. Maybe this thread was made because he didn’t think his opinion would be heard in the main thread. Maybe this opinion is truly how he feels and he has the right to feel this way.

Not only was endgame a great conclusion to 11 years of good to great movies it was my favorite of all the mcu movies. That movie deserved every dollar it made and for being the real best selling movie of all time. (fukk Avatar) OP is nuts and doesn’t deserve to be taken seriously in regards to movies. Endgame being great is a fact not opinion
