I could see this going either way. But the Eagles defense is legit, and Saquon is in a career year. These Eagles are better than the Eagles from two years ago, and Sirianni is a more mature coach today than he was then...
The coordinator matchup is fire, Spags vs Moore, Nagy/Reid vs Fangio. The Eagles will absolutely try to impose their will running the ball on a Chiefs front that has been run on. On D the Eagles are elite at every level. KC is gonna have a hard time running the ball, and that secondary in Philly is better than the receivers in KC. Houston's secondary is elite and they played well, limiting the Chiefs to like 160 passing yards...
KC is gonna have trouble running and throwing it. In theory this should be a blowout, Eagles should win this shyt by 2 touchdowns...
The wild card is that in Reid and Spags the Chiefs have two of the best play callers on their sides of the ball, ever. These guys are All-Time elite at putting their players in the best positions to succeed, and having the right play, for the right moment. It's not something that can be understated!
And then, of course, you have one of the four greatest quarterbacks to ever play this game on the other side. If this game comes down to a close contest and needing the QB to complete a drive to seal a win----->you're not taking Hurts. Mahomes has the same All-Time situational awareness that his coaches have. You can have one up on him, and it's like when he absolutely NEEDS to be at his best, he is...
This game should be a blowout, the Eagles are the better team. I don't think it will be, though. I think Philly still wins, and I think it'll be a similar score to the last time these two teams met, just with Philly on the winning side this time...
It'll either start as a defensive game, and end with fireworks, or it'll start out the gate with fireworks, and end with both defenses tightening up and whichever offense does just enough at the end...
Final score: Eagles 35, Chiefs 31
****but would not be shocked one iota if KC wins this game...
