The Russo Brothers says the recent concept art leak was fake

***There was a leak of an Avengers concept art recently. Often the final movie doesn’t reflect that artwork. Should anyone be worried about being unwillingly spoiled?***

***JOE: No, because that artwork was not from Avengers: Doomsday or Secret Wars.***

***ANTHONY: Nothing spoiling in there. That’s not our concept art.***
:jbhmm:Y’all believe them???

Disney wouldn't have fired the person who (accidentally) leaked the concept art if it wasn't at least somewhat relevant.

Also, what project would those images even be about if not Doomsday or Secret Wars? :stopitslime:

concept art isn't fake, but it doesn't necessarily mean that's the plan. they probably draw up a bunch of hypothetical shyt. still think the artist just got told they weren't going his direction so he said, "fukk it, check this shyt out"

Should just ask ChatGPT what the Russos are planning to do in Doomsday, because they most likely asked themselves.

They need to bring Majors back. He was railroaded by the legal system and tarred and feathered by the media and the Twitter happy public (glad it lost the ability to move opinion on that level), yet he took it all in stride. He has been on his best behavior, taken accountability, worked on himself, kept quiet, started a healthy relationship and not shown an ounce of bitterness or bad mouthed anyone even though he had, and has, every right to do so.

Also there have been high profile people coming out to support him like Michael B. Jordan and Matthew McConaughey. People that have worked with him are saying he has been nothing short of professional at all times. The only people that still have an issue with him are two ex girlfriends and that crazy white bytch. Surprise surprise.

They've humbled him for something that should never have been an issue in the first place. Fine, whatever, now let him redeem himself. I can't fukk with Disney/Marvel until they do right by him.

According to a report from The Cosmic Circus, Marvel Studios is exploring ways to bring their animated properties into Avengers: Doomsday, and it's likely to be done in an animated format respective to their original universe, rather than trying to adapt them into live-action. This means that Avengers: Doomsday could have scenes similar to Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and Space Jam, with the animated characters appearing on-screen with the live-action cast.
The report also clarifies that while the animated Loki character Miss Minutes is expected to return for Doomsday, the information is in addition to her interactions on screen, hinting at more animated characters from other Marvel properties. This opens up the Avengers movie to have cameos from characters in What If...?, the Disney+ MCU anthology series that explores alternate timelines from the multiverse, which would fit the film's narrative perfectly.
Right now, details about Avengers: Doomsday remain scarce, with the film scheduled to be released in theaters on May 1, 2026. At 2024's SDCC, Marvel Studios shared Robert Downey Jr.'s casting as the film's antagonist, Doctor Doom, and that the Russo Brothers would return as directors and producers. Filming is reported to kick off in April, so more details about the film may emerge once it commences production. Besides Downey's Doctor Doom, The Fantastic Four are also confirmed to appear in Doomsday, with The Fantastic Four: First Steps being the first film in Phase Six of the MCU.

Another Avengers movie, Secret Wars, is also in development for a 2027 release. With Phase Six's saga exploring the multiverse and pitting Marvel's heroes against one of the biggest villains in comics history, it's likely that these movies will include the biggest roster of characters in MCU history. The Russo brothers have already talked about the two movies, saying they have to 'outdo' the success of Infinity War and Endgame.

Which Animated Characters Might Appear in Avengers: Doomsday?

In 2021, the MCU expanded with What If...?, its first animated series that, similar to its comics' counterpart, explored alternate timelines that saw major moments in MCU films flipped on their heads. One of What If...?'s main characters is the Watcher, who observes the multiverse and does not interfere with its events. The character has gone on to appear in I Am Groot, X-Men '97 and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, with The Cosmic Circus' report hinting that the character seems one of the most likely to be in Doomsday.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man characters and the X-Men '97 cast are apparently also viable candidates for the movie. Concept art of a Disneyland Avengers ride showed the animated Spider-Man appearing alongside live-action heroes, while the X-Men '97 characters are stuck across time and space — making a multiverse story the perfect opportunity to reunite them properly.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2026.

Miss Minutes is a guarantee but i remember there was rumors spiderman 2099 was gonna be one of the surprise cameos of the multiverse saga and he would keep his spiderverse appearance. Would be dope if they can make that happen.

Isn't watcher supposed to be getting a live action version in Fantastic 4?

But my whole thing is a movie of this size clearly needs alot of time in post production. They didn't even start filming this thing yet. How the hell do they expect to get this out by next year?
