That is the main point I made. I was just pointing out that you are letting the inmates run the asylum if you can insinuate that Avenatti isn't pious and isn't above the bullshyt yet you want him to represent your Democratic ideals. Electing someone like Avenatti isn't tenable for a well-governed country. Sure we get to stick it to the other party, but hopefully, unlike Republicans, that isn't the only issue we care about.

I get that, and I support an open primary process, but damn...I just can't imagine actually supporting dude or hoping he wins the Presidency. He really came out of nowhere and doesn't have a strong background at all. It's not like he was an activist putting in work, he's a random Hollywood lawyer. I'm definitely in favour of a fighter, but I just don't see it with Avenatti. I truly do not understand why anyone would want him to hold the highest office in the land.
