Titanic is the most impressive box office run on that list considering it was a 3 hour period piece, and 90s movie ticket prices.
The movie held box office legs till spring of 98

Yep absolutely the truth. Amazing when you factor in inflation the last 20 plus years and Titanic is still on this list.

Just saw this in 3D. Cameron is the goat at the blockbuster spectacle. I will say tat there is no reason for this to be over 3 hours long. Also, just like the first one, when you take away the effect of IMAX 3D it will probably fall all the way down to mid status.

I actually am more excited for seeing the making of the film than to ever seeing the film again.

The final action set piece is incredible, 3D or not, but yeah, these films were made for 3D, taking it away and you miss a huge piece of the film experience. They probably going to keep re releasing this until avatar 3 comes out.
