W.O.A.T Son ever! :hhh:

But a father at times has to love their son no matter what.

Visually impressive but a long ass good film.

Wow that was an experience. I took my kids to see a late night showing last night and the movie is breathtaking. At times I couldn’t tell when the cgi ended and the real scenes were. James Cameron really created a world with Pandora. A living breathing planet all connected to each other. Matter of fact it seemed like one of those discovery channel planet episodes. More importantly it makes the white man look like bloodthirsty techno demons obsessed with destroying worlds and replacing natural beauty with machines.

I went back and forth with some cuck on here a couple years back. He was saying how no one was going to see this film because it's taking too long. My counter was the technology alone would sell the film.

James Cameron is incredible. I want to see his take on another genre using the same tech

People who pushed the flop narrative early hurting right now

All I heard after the first week was “it needs 2 billion to recoup”

Well here’s your 2 billion

This is getting ridiculous now. This joint is doing over 200 Million Globally throughout the week. Looking like 2.2 is the floor and it could go even high as 2.4 or 2.5 Billi at this pace. So it will pass "Titanic" Globally. So James will have Three 2 Billion Dollar Films on his resume and he hasn't even directed 10 films. It's about to pass "No Way Home" in another day and that film had multiple generations going to see it and 3 Different Spiderman's attached to it. This shows you that the first film has actually done very well over the last 13 years. Between DVD, Blu Ray sales. Re-Releases and Television showings. "Avatar" is clearly is a much more popular franchise than some are willing to admit.

James Cameron stated that it was actually more around $1.6B so they way beyond profitable now. i don't wanna get too into it but there were some movies that didn't do as well as projected and fans of those movies felt Avatar would flop. That's how the narrative began.

And wasn’t that 1.6 for part 2 and 3 because he already shot most of part 3 :wow:
