Ehhh that Puss in Boots 2 has been getting rave reviews, so it’s definitely completion especially on the family front. Those Shrek movies always do numbers. In other words, it has zero competition.

I thought the same thing about Unobtainium, it was THE focal point of the first movie. I guess Edie Falco's character explained that away by just saying they now want to conquer the entire planer since Earth is dying - so rather than extract all the Unobtainium, just taking the planet? I dont know, it was such a emphasis in the first one, I did think it was funny, but I guess this one just got more personal with Quaritch / SullyOkay
i'll tell you now this movie is gonna age like milk
because its already turning in my brain
looks great, good adventure.
The future entries in this series might have to tighten up the story. We give technical marvels a lot of passes in story telling we really should reconsider...word to Christopher Nolan
- So, "Unobtainium" just doesn't matter anymore? That was already an embarassingly lazy mcguffin, but the first movie was about this mineral and its ability to be sold for billions and also somehow...save earth? And now its about a mystery goo that is from Mesozoic Sperm Whales' brain stems that 'stops aging' and that is explained in literally one line...? And their best way of getting it is the same level of sea-based poaching we do on earth now?
- The storyline with the daughter having a seizure when she connects to the planet's god cloud...this was like 20% of the movie...just not explained, bailed on really...i guess that helps her speak to fish and breath water better? Unexplained. Why was she just looking in a hole in the sand?
- Why are these different tribes very familiar with each other but still like low tier racist? 4 fingers is wild exotic and alien but you literally have fins for arms and we both have different tails??
- Spider make up your fukkin' mind
- Spider acts like and lives with Na'vi...sure but like...he knows about and is around a lot of humans right? I mean, Mowgli never really lived with humans...he is acting like a jungle boy for real...he is in a science lab all the time
- Was Quaritch doing a Merle from Walking Dead impression?
- Why are we still calling humans sky people? They know the deal right?
Maybe. My kids don't know nothing about it and I ain't trying to take them to see no Puss in Boots.Ehhh that Puss in Boots 2 has been getting rave reviews, so it’s definitely completion especially on the family front. Those Shrek movies always do numbers.
Yeah is the mission imperialism, revenge, or getting the key to long life / fountain of youth / shangri la type motivation?I thought the same thing about Unobtainium, it was THE focal point of the first movie. they need to make better villains for 3, hopefully its some civil strife on Pandora because that could be more interesting than just battling humans again, they can aways come back to that larger plot in 4/5
Yeah, I agree I think Cameron is dropping the ball on the villain front. I really thought he would go that route in this flick but he pulled a T2 (beat wise) which is basically T1 but updated, however both of those flicks have classic villains that upped the overall quality.they need to make better villains for 3, hopefully its some civil strife on Pandora because that could be more interesting than just battling humans again, they can aways come back to that larger plot in 4/5
It's just the opening weekend numbers, the 2nd and 3rd weekend always tell how a movie is really going to hold up'Avatar: The Way of Water' failed to live up to box office expectations on its opening weekend, reports say — putting pressure on Disney's $2 billion bet
'Avatar 2' has come in under expectations on its opening weekend. But, like its predecessor, it may end up being a longer-term hit.www.yahoo.com
U can have all the beautiful scenery and tech u want, if the story is , ppl will notice
This shyt was entirely too long. Jesus christ.
