Spider spent majority of the joint running around like George of the Jungle Jr. :dead:

When homie got his arm ripped off I went :gladbron:

Similarly to the first entry, I expected better on the story front. Didn’t think it was outright bad though. I was way more invested this go-round due to the family aspect, the world-building, but the film for the most part felt like a set-up for the franchise and I’m mostly curious of where they’re going to go with Lo'ak. Hoping the dynamic between Spider and Neytiri is touched upon in the next one because I don’t know about y’all, but I’m throwing hands with anyone who has a knife to my throat. :hubie:

One of the main complaints I’m seeing elsewhere were the Sea Na’vi completely disappearing in the last act and I’m actually over here applauding them for not partaking in Jake’s mess there. :ehh:

This was worth the long drive and price of admission off the visuals alone. The night scenes were absolutely breathtaking, and the last act in particular had shades of each of Cameron’s classics. You knew shyt was about to get real as soon as the sun reached its eclipse.

I keep reading that most of the smaller 2D showings are mostly not being filled and everyone seems to either be going to the bigger screens or 3D.

Not sure what that means for this films box office totals

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
I’m not even interested in seeing this.

2009 was a different time in life for me. I saw the first one 5 times.

Lobbied for the sequel for years.

Now that it’s out, I have no interest.

You can’t wait 13 years to make a sequel and expect the original fans to get excited.
